Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.

Degas

There is nothing worse than a sharp image of a fuzzy concept.

Ansel Adams

Judith began painting in childhood attending the children's art classes at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.  She continued her studies in what became a lifelong pursuit of exploring visual art in its various forms.

Her artistic practice and vision has evolved over the years influenced by various institutions and artists: Mount Allison University, the Ontario College of Art (now OCAD), the Art Gallery of Ontario, the National Portrait Gallery (London), Haliburton School of Art, Lila Lewis Irving, Barry Coombs, Chinkok Tan, Steve Simon and others.
